Eigentlich sollte ich jetzt das Bett hüten, aber ich kann nicht den ganzen Tag schlafen und meinen Infekt auskurieren. Also kein Buch, kein Fernsehen, aber ein wenig bloggen. Hoffe das mit dem andauernden Bloggen ist nur am Anfang so, damit ich mal wieder zum Lesen komme oder eine Kette fabriziere in meiner Freizeit, die ohnehin knapp bemessen ist. Im Mosaik sind die einzelnen Schritte des Monochordbaus zu sehen, stattgefunden Anfang dieses Jahres. Es war meine Idee und mein lieber Mann hat mir mitgeholfen in fünf Tagen dieses wunderbare Instrument zusammenzuschustern, es ist nur für den persönlichen Gebrauch gedacht. Wie Ihr seht in einer richtigen Werkstatt, nicht unsere, das Material haben wir dort bekommen und auch die Anleitung dazu. Es war eine ziemlich neue Erfahrung und ich musste mich sehr konzentrieren, da ich noch nie ein Instument zuvor gebaut habe. Wer mehr wissen will, bitte mich anmailen, ich möchte jetzt keine Links auf den Blog setzen. Das Instrument ist zweiseitig, auf einer Seite ist ein Monochord mit 11 Saiten und 4 Saiten, die wie eine Tambura gestimmt sind. Auf der Seite mit den rosa Perlen ein Konzertkoto, da fehlen noch ein paar Stege, insgesamt sind es 17 solcher Holzstege. Das Instrument kann ohne irgendeine instrumentalische Vorbildung gespielt werden und klingt Klasse. Das sagt sogar mein Mann, der klassische Gitarre spielt. Die Kotoseite ist pentatonisch gestimmt, genauer japanisch Kumoi. Die Monochordseite ist auf einen Ton gestimmt, meist C und es werden durch das Anschlagen der 11 Saiten Obertöne erzeugt, wirkt übrigens sehr beruhigend. (Wenn man auf das Bild draufklickt, bekommt man die ein scharfes Foto, es sieht im Blog leider doch sehr verschwommen aus.)

Sorry I am just not so well, the english text now one day later. The monochord is an instrument which is often used by therapists who work with the medium music, we call that translated musictherapists or one can have it just for the fun to use it for oneself, to calm down, relax a little bit while playing. The reason I have it is for personal pleasure. This intrument has two sides, one called Monochord with 11 strings and 4 further. The 11 strings are normally tuned in the note C this is the propered Monochord. When you allude them like a guitar, an overtone can be heared. This is the relaxing mean that this instrument has. The four other strings on the side with the green blue pearls are tuned like a Tambura. On this side of the instrument you have two obtions to play Monochord or/and Tambura. The other side with the pink and white pearls is called concertkoto and tuned
pentatonically, japanes Kumoi. On the foto there are only4 woodbridges, ready tuned it has 17 such small bridges. We visited a workshop beginning of this year where we could do that with very kind support, but we had to do everything with our hands ourselves. So we had to work very concentrated because never done such a thing before. The woods which has been used were mapple and fir. The sound is very nice, also my husband who plays classic guitar means that.
