Today we had such a nice March spring afternoon, time to enjoy really nice happenings. So sitting in the sun, I opened the package I got from Jan, she is member of the group Fox on the run meanderings, from whom I won their first give a away. It is a book from Lyla and how amazing nice done. Here in Germany I never have seen such a selfmade book. It is so full of creative ideas and expression made by paper, for me it is really very special and I am so happy that I won it. And it is always such a moment having a selfmade item in my hand from another woman, it is so much without any words.

Ich habe bei uns noch nie so ein selbstgemachtes Buch gesehen und bin so erstaunt über die Kreativität und Verspieltheit in ihm. Es ist immer wieder ein wunderbares Erlebnis wenn ich von einer anderen Frau, etwas selbstgemachtes in der Hand habe, da kommt soviel rüber ohne viel Worte.

Colorplay / Farbenspiel

Today very simple, the sun is reflecting the wonderful colors of this glas.
Winter is the time with little colors outside, therefore a really colorful mosaic.

Heute mal ganz einfach, die Sonne reflektiert die wunderschönen Farben dieses Glases.
Im Winter gibt es wenig Farbe, deswegen mal ein richtig buntes Mosaik.

our Christmastree / unser Weihnachtsbaum

Every year one of the most beloved tradition for Christmas is to decorate our Christmastree.

I love it in the traditional way with lots of red and golden bowls and  with little figures made from wood, strawstars, beewaxs tags and other little charms I collected.

Jedes Jahr liebe ich es immer wieder den Weihnachtsbaum zu schmücken, es ist eine der schönsten Traditionen zu Weihnachten. Er wird auch traditionell von mir geschmückt mit vielen roten und golden Kugeln, kleinen Holzfiguren, Bienenwachsanhänger und anderen gesammelten Baumschmuck.

Dieses Jahr haben wir wirklich einen besonders schönen Baum.

Fridolin hat sich gleich ein schönes Plätzchen gesichert.

Ich liebe Stefanies Sammelsurium Schmuckstücke, besonders die Armbänder haben es mir angetan. Es steckt in jedem soviel Leben, Begeisterung und Liebe drinnen, sie sind wunderschön zu tragen. Hier mein erstes Armband, bin ich glücklich wenn ich es trage, es drückt für mich ein Lebensgefühl von wie soll ich sagen.....? Amazone Freiheit Wildheit aus, alles zusammen, deswegen bekommt Stefanie auch diesen Post von mir.

Father frost for MM / Väterchen Frost

Father frost enchanted my garden last Thursday. Early in the morning I took the fotos,

because only the first day it looks so nice with the flowers covered with white frost.

Väterchen Frost verzauberte meinen Garten am Donnerstag. Früh am Morgen machte ich die Fotos,

da nur am ersten Tag die Blumen so schön aussehen mit dem weißen Reif.

 What a pity it vanish so quickly, the leaves on the ground every single looked preciously.

Schade, dass er so schnell wieder verschwindet, die Blätter am Boden sahen jedes einzelne kostbar aus.

 Unterdacht blühen aber immer noch die Petunien hier treffen sich Sommer und Herbst.

Sheltered the petunias are still flowering, here summer and autumn meets.

Kleine Überraschung / Little surprise

Am Montag lag doch ein kleiner roter Brief  im Briefkasten. 

Was für eine liebe Überraschung. Gabie hatte mir diesen Anhänger aus Draht gebogen. 

Sie hat einen Garten in der Nähe mit einer Freundin zusammen und 

einen kleinen Umweg  gemacht.

On Monday I got  a little red letter, no stamp on it.
What a nice surprise, Gabie has made me a litte medallion with wires.
She has with her friend nearby where I live a garden
and just made a little extratour to my home. 

Hier ein wenig schöner dekoriert. Ich war so glücklich über dieses Geschenk. 

Momentan habe ich wenig Zeit mir selbst etwas zu machen, 

um so mehr freue ich mich über diesen Anhänger.

Here it is better decorated. I was so happy about this present. 

Just now I have very little me time, that makes it much more 

worth for me to get such a nice present, totally unexpected. 

Jeden Tag kann der Frost kommen und mit den Blüten ein Ende machen.

Every day the frost can come but now still some flowers are blooming. This is in the front yard.

Das einzigste was ich mal in letzter Zeit selbst gewerkelt habe,
ein Geschenk für die Tochter einer guten Freundin.

Sommerflowers for Monday Mosaic / Sommerblumen für MM

At Saturday I got the idea to photograph all flowers just blooming in my garden. So you can see above almost all flowers. The mosaic is full of colours like summertime is. I hope you enjoy it.
And I made a little mistake in the garden. I have a 8 feet high thistle in my garden. I always cut away the seeds buds, but I forgot about it during the week, not having time to go into it. So now, you can see the little foto last row, all over my place are thistle seeds at the ground in the bushes etc. In the thistle is growing a black eye susanne, see the first left column, of course full of seeds. I already now know what I will weeding next year.

Am Samstag hatte ich die Idee von allen Blumen, die gerade in meinem Garten blühen Fotos zu machen. Ich habe sie fast alle in diesem Mosaik untergebracht. Es ist bunt so wie der Sommer bunt ist. Mir ist dieses Jahr ein kleines Missgeschick passiert. Im Garten wächst eine 2 Meter hohe Distel. In ihr rankt eine Schwarze Susanne, also habe ich sie nicht entfernt, sondern immer die Samenköpfe weggeschnitten. Letzte Woche hatte ich keine Zeit. Um sie herum liegen jetzt überall die Samen. Ich weis jetzt schon was ich nächstes Jahr jäten werde.

Hummeln lieben Disteln, das ist ein guter Grund eine im Garten zu haben.

Das weiße Filzschälchen ist gewebt, dachte
mir das muss jetzt auch noch rein.

The little white felted bowl is woven,
I thought I wil also show you this.

In the evening I was inspired for a little ring
and this is the result. While making it I thought
it looks a little bit like a flower, that could
be a ring for a little fairy.
;-)

Heute abend hatte ich Lust noch einen kleinen
Ring zu machen und das ist dabei herausgekommen.
Es sieht ein wenig nach einer Blüte aus,
gemacht wie für eine kleine Elfe.

only the columbine shows her beauty. I assume
we are two weeks slower in vegetation,
because the cold rainy wheather.

Selbstgestricktes / knitting made by myself

Passend zum Wetter, mein selbstgestrickter Schal eigentlich für
die kältere Jahreszeit gemacht. Mit dünner farbiger Norowolle
und einem lila Mohairgarn gestrickt.
Und das bin ich :-)

wheather is as cold as never before in June, 6 until 12 degree.
I take the chance and show my selfknitted scarve,
thin Norowool coloured together with lila Mohairwool and
that's me :-)

Wieder etwas aus Norowolle mein Lieblingsgarn.
Es ist ein Geschenk gewesen und wird bei kaltem Wetter
in Florida getragen, ja die haben es auch mal kalt.

This has been a present and worn
by cold wheather in Florida.

Bei diesen Fingerhandschuhen habe ich noch Perlen hinzugefügt.
Natürlich Noro und es macht Spaß damit zu stricken, da ich nie
im voraus weis, wie sie aussehen werden.

Regenbogenperlen Rainbowpearls

Wenn mich immer wieder etwas fasziniert, dann die Farben
des Regenbogens und natürlich in Form eines Schmuckes.
Hier fange ich gerade 2,60 m aufzuperlen.

The colours of the rainbow has always fascinated me and
I appreciate it in form of jewelry. Here I just started to put
the little beads on a 2,60 m long thread.

Es war in der Abendsonne und die Farben auch in so klein,
ließen das eintönige Auffädeln erträglich werden.

It was in the evening sun and however the colours so small,
it wasn't so bad with the monotonous beading.
